Holistic Tuesday

This morning I headed out for yoga at 9.30. I drove out as I normally do and as soon as I turned on to Jalan Duta, the traffic came to a screaming holt. I soon realised that the traffic was so bad because the trial of Anwar Ibrahim on sodomy charges was due to start today. It took me 20 minutes to drive 1km but eventually I made it to yoga just as the class was starting.

Heather put us through some tough poses today and my hamstrings suffered for it! I did feel as though I was getting more stable and stronger though and was pretty happy with a couple of the standing poses in particular. As always, the hour and a half seems to fly by and before I realise it, we are relaxing at the end of the class. My new mat, strap and blocks had served me well.

I arranged to meet Sarah for a coffee at Plaza Damas before heading back home. I spent an hour or so at home before driving out to Bangsar for some lunch and my acupuncture appointment. I had lunch at Delicious and then did a bit of grocery shopping before walking up to see Oran.

As usual, I walked out after my appointment much more relaxed and feeling better. I drove home and spent the afternoon watching TV and continuing to sort out my beads. Ross came home about 6 and we made mini pizzas for dinner - yum. We ploughed through another couple of episodes of The Tudors before heading to bed.
